Senior System administrator （20K左右）

Local Support:

·        Configure and install new software on laptops

·        Recover data from corrupted laptops

·        Allocate and correctly configure users accounts in central Active Directory

·        Configure local network

·        Install and configure hardware such as routers, firewalls, wireless connection points, etc.

·        Upgrade servers and laptops with new memory, disks, etc.

·        Install and configure infrastructure software such as DHCP, Active Directory, network monitoring tools.

·        Diagnose local access and performance incidents

·        Install and maintain antivirus and other software

·        Enforce usage policies among local employees

·        Specify, test and sometimes install local network wiring

·        Install, configure and maintain local printers, scanners, etc.

·        Support local developers for system related issues such as security best practices, security policy, available tools, etc.

·        Excellent communication skills and “service mentality” for clients.



Follow the Sun Support

               This requires the knowledge and ability to diagnose and correct any issue in our production and engineering environments anywhere in the world. Thus it is essentially the same skills as the more senior people in Cranston, however less emphasis on design and planning and more on diagnosis and correction.



·       Strong knowledge of server hardware configuration, including remote diagnostic tools, remote monitoring, etc.

·      Build server deployments per SOP specifications for all deployment

·        Diagnoses and remedy issues with  deployed servers

·        Strong knowledge of Internet security policies

·        Ability to script common operations across multiple systems using Power Shell and other tools

·        Ability to utilize and configure monitoring tools Diagnose and remedy network routing issues both internationally.

·        Design and install firewall rules and load balancer rules

·        Basic skills with installing and configuring Active Directory

·        Have customer facing skills to negotiate with Data Center managers for local customers and travel to install hardware and software.

·        Management of third party maintenance services, such as DELL, EMC, HP, Microsoft



Knowledge and Skill:



·         Normally requires a degree in computer technology or an advanced certificate in Computer Technology plus 5 years of experience

        

·         Excellent communication skills in English and “service mentality” for internal and external clients.



·         Main software installation and configuration, especially SQL Server 2008 R2 ,IIS7;Main brand, Polycom VC, HP Printer setup and repair



·         Netgear NAS setup and configuration; RAID configuration ; Domain controller installation and configuration  in windows 2008 server environment; VMVare with ESX or ESXI



Experience of maintain main brand server, like DELL R series, HP; Windows 2008 server
